|Summary||08759: pencil2: Multiple keypresses not recognized making the game Treasure Hunt unplayable.|
Multiple keypresses at the same time are not recognized in the machine, thus the game Treasure Hunt is not possible to play. In this video @50th second there is diagonal movement needed, which is not possible to do.
Only single keypress is recognized at the same time.
|Steps To Reproduce||Start the cartridge treasure.zip for the Pencil II computer.|
|Affected Sets / Systems||pencil2|

|Is this really a diagonal movement or just the combination of up or down and the game's scrolling?|
16 days ago
|Diagonal movement is not possible, because the up/down + left/right keypresses are not recognized. The game scrolls horizontally all the time.|

|The arrow keys are on port E0, which is read directly by the system. I assume therefore it's working as designed.|

I *think* there's a video out there which showed the player being able to shoot while moving, so perhaps multiple key presses are supposed to be supported, just not diagonal movement.
I'd say this needs real hardware verification before dismissing it completely as a btanb.
