| Summary | 08834: cdimono1: Loading save states causes MAME to be "stuck between" two states | ||||
| Description |
When loading a save state for the CD-i, MAME will become stuck between the state you were at before attempting to load the save state, and the state you're trying to load to. That's the best way I can describe it, at least. Here's footage of it happening (MAJOR FLASHING WARNING): It happens regardless of game, regardless of whether you manually loaded into it (as I have in this footage) or if it was an automatic save state that gets loaded on launch (how I discovered it initially). You can't do anything when it's like this, it doesn't respond to any button presses or anything else. |
||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Happens consistently when loading any save state. | ||||
| Additional Information | I am running on Fedora Linux 39 using what I'm pretty sure is the official packaging for MAME. My processor is an AMD Ryzen 7 2700. | ||||

The Fedora package has been updated to 0.263 now so I can test there, and it's happening in 0.263 as well. |
