Summary 08866: Most sets on taito_f3.cpp: taito f3 system sound has echo effect
Description Hello
all Games of taito f3 system has an echo effect
this doesn't happen in real hardware or final burn neo
please remove the echo effect
Steps To Reproduce 1. start any game
2. listen to the music

 The echo/reverb effects are by this DSP: https://github.com/mamedev/mame/blob/master/src/devices/cpu/es5510/es5510.cpp
Emulation is not 100% perfect, so I expect it will sound a bit different compared to the arcade machines.

Comparing it to FBN is not right, AFAIK it does not emulate this chip. And if it did, it would be copy-pasted from MAME and sound very similar.

 in final burn neo it not sounds similar. the reverp effect is not present

 Like I said, FBN does not emulate this ES5510 chip.
The 2nd part of my message was hypothetical, maybe lost in translation or misread?

 Comparing to another emulator is not valid, since it could be wrong too.

You need to provide proof of real hardware.

 the provenance of that recording is questionable; it could have been recorded from an old version of mame which didn't emulate the ES5510

 He meant actual arcade hardware footage. Taito Egret II mini is emulation. And 12Me21 already posted a video of arcade hardware.

Also, on very severe bugs I won't mind a "please fix" comment, but 1: IMO this is not a severe bug, and 2: you posted a 'fix request' comment twice now, please don't do that again.
