| Summary | 08899: exzisusa, exzisust: Greenish hue is present when it should not be | ||||
| Description |
This only applies to the Japanese conversion kit version (exzisusa) and the TAD license version (exzisust). Upon loading either version, there appears to be a greenish hue which makes the color palette different from the proper color palette on the Japanese dedicated version (exzisus). This could be due to a bad dump of one common ROM ("b23-03.14l") in their ROM sets. A real hardware gameplay video (albeit a low-resolution one) of the TAD license version shows the proper color palette without the greenish hue. |
||||
| Steps To Reproduce |
1. Load either version of Exzisus (exzisusa or exzisust). 2. You can see that the greenish hue appears when it should not, unlike the parent system (exzisus). |
||||
| Additional Information |
The screenshots below use the title screen as an example. The "Verified with Original" flag has been checked due to the report including a video of the TAD license version being played on real hardware. |

Yes the green tint is due to the color PROM that's marked BAD_DUMP. The palette is slightly different, so we can't reconstruct or repair it with the PROM data from the parent set. |
