Summary 08936: bbh, bbhsc: Unable to return to attract mode after exiting service menu
Description Games: Big Buck Hunter (bbh) & Big Buck Hunter: Shooter's Challenge (bbhsc)

When exiting the service menu, a sound effect heard when doing so glitches repeatedly and the game does not return to the attract mode, leading to a freeze. This could be due to a bad dump of the ROMs or the disk image.
Steps To Reproduce For both games:

1. Load the game.
2. When in the attract mode, press F2 to go to the service menu. Ctrl and Spacebar are the buttons used to select a choice or make adjustments. Assuming you have already adjusted the attract mode volume to match the game volume or reset the coin counters, select "Exit" and press 1 (Start) to confirm.
3. The glitched sound effect will be heard and the game is unable to return to the attract mode. Fortunately, if you exit and reload the game, the adjustments made will be saved anyway.
Additional Information The games in this bug report are tested with boot ROM version 2.09. This issue may or may not apply to other boot ROM versions.

The severity status is marked "Major" instead of "Critical (emulation)" because any adjustments made were able to be saved anyway after exiting and reloading the game.

No screenshots are needed for this report since the explanations above may be enough.

Confirmed. When EXIT is selected it purposely goes to a endless loop and hangs. If F3 is pressed, it says the Hard Disk is detected and then freezes again.

As for your NGP question, it is indeed off topic. Please do not be pushy - it gives a bad impression.

Well, regarding that off-topic blurb, I've taken that down now, but I think the damage is already done.

I agree not to do that ever again.
