Summary 08985: jumpbug and clones: Missing sounds (present in ARCADE but too high-pitched)
Description Jump Bug uses a modification of Galaxian's discrete sound, which does not seem to play in the official MAME binary. It does play partially in ARCADE (arcade.mameworld.info), though the pitch of the digital oscillator and "fire sound" (moneybag) is too high-pitched, and there are some sounds missing like music percussion and volcanos. This may also affect Levers as it is another Rock-Ola game on the same hardware.

MAME used to have the same sounds as ARCADE64, but someone long ago decided they shouldn't be there and removed them.

The report has been acknowledged pending a developer's investigation as to whether they should be there or not, and the correct pitch.

A YouTube user known as Retrogamex (their channel has been deleted) made a modified version of ARCADE32 with a lower pitched oscillator (specifically for Taito do Brasil's Kong), so that much should be possible to fix.
