Summary | 09065: lasso, chameleo, wwjgtin: Sound is a bit too low-pitched and slow | ||||
Description |
Two videos each of Lasso and Chameleon PCBs, plus one for Wai Wai Jockey Gate-In, indicate a higher sound pitch and tempo. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/6l8KkH_BIaw Note: this also seems to apply to Pinbo, but to a lesser extent. |

The Pinbo in that video sounds like it has a 18.432MHz XTAL instead of 18MHz. The one in MAME was confirmed to have an 18MHz XTAL. Chameleon and Wai Wai Jockey (both by Jaleco like Pinbo) in above videos sound like 18MHz. |

Honestly it's weird, the lower pitch feels more like what was intended, but multiple PCB videos seem to show that it was supposed to be higher Edit: The Chameleon start music doesn't get cut off anymore so it must be correct. |
