Summary 09206: ozmawars and ozmawars2: No sounds and no music.
Description I did the tried 0.277. Same issue.

Bootlegs have sounds and music.

Wait is there an issue on the ships? I saw some vanish and then come back. Look like on the ozmawars2 there is some graphics issue.

Those games are working fine with proper sound.

Some enemies disappear momentarily, that is normal.

Note that these games use samples, do you have them?

This looks a generic issue tbh. Either samples should be treated as actual ROMs or the actual UI should warn user that samples aren't found, it's currently done in error.log of all things.

At one time, anything in MAME that used external samples were flagged with inaccurate sound. These sets don't seem to be following that guideline.
