Apparenlty this is a regression since this game doesn't have MNW flag, last known version that launch fully beatmania IIDX games (expect bmiidxs and bmiidxc2) was version 0.263. Hovewer, one of the commentars said that on this game had backup memory fail check using MAME 0.264. If this error appear, should appear "1P START = BACKUP CLEAR" on red color (video below, 1:25), but if isn't shown, that might be due the security fail check on this version. (video creator used version 0.241) Games that pass security check: bmiidx, bmiidxs, bmiidxc and bmiidxc2 |

| Steps To Reproduce |
1. Start the game 2. If boot was complete, you should see "E150 BACKUP DATA ERROR", both "BACKUP ROM BAD" and "SECURITY BAD". 3. Enter service mode and select "BACKUP CLEAR" and press Yes using SW-2 button, later exit service mode using SW-7 button and later SW-2 button. 4. If boot was complete, you should see "E800 NO SECURITY CARD ERROR" and "SECURITY BAD". |

bmiidx2, bmiidx3, bmiidx4, bmiidx5, bmiidx6, bmiidx7 and bmiidx8 like in title. bmiidxs and bmiidxc2 starts normally, so I didn't included this. bmiidx amd bmiidxc pass security, but doesn't start due the DVD issues. |

I've checked bmiidx2, and here's my findings: 0.277: Not able to reproduce. 0.278: The exact issue happens. Nightly builds (build 1f94686): Not able to reproduce. Backup RAM can be cleared by pressing Start (1), like usual. So it was probably a regression that was later fixed. Possible regression version is 0.278. |
