Summary	09274: chinhero , chinhero2 , chinhero3 , chinherot: only is used 3 buttons
Description	Hello. For that game MAME allow 4 inputs, but the game only use 3 buttons. Demo gameplay is showed it. Have much more games having more inputs than the real arcade. Have an nice week.

No.23710 Tafoid Administrator Sep 23, 2025, 21:20	According to the game's test mode, it allows input for 4 buttons - all of which are noted and set up in MAME as accessible even if the game doesn't immediately use them. Access test screen by holding 9 (Service) + F3 (Reset) until showing. Doesn't appear to be a bug to me.

I remember perfectly playing the undumped clone Kung Fu Heroes ( that's because has game an NES named Kung Fu Heroes ) having only 3 buttons and gameplay demo show only 3 buttons too. Thus I had posted about it here. MAME has others games with more buttons than real arcade does and has games with service mode showing more buttons than the arcade cabinet being an example The Combatribes. Possibly service mode use the same program code used between ddragon3 and ctribe so showing 3 buttons. ozzyguy has posted an image about control panel, but .... Have an real arcade cabinet with only 3 buttons. See the uploaded image. That bug report need to be reopened.

No.23781 ozzyguy Tester 3 days ago edited on: 3 days ago	@Augusto The game (Chinese Hero/Chinese Heroe) still uses four buttons, on the Kitkorp cabinet, from the looks the start buttons are tied to the "Power Ball" buttons (if you look at the panel art closely, the game still uses four buttons as previously said). Also the panel I posted is from a Japanese cocktail cabinet.
