Summary | 09279: destroyr, destroyr1: Atari Copyright possibly not being displayed on title screen | ||||
Description |
There is an original Atari Destroyer arcade pcb for sale on Ebay at this time. The seller has posted pictures and a video clip showing a copyright message of 1977 ATARI. Neither sets currently emulated display this copyright message. The graphics for the copyright are in both version 1 and 2 of the available sets. The pcb for sale is a version 1 as indicated by the numbers on the proms on the pcb in the pictures. It's possible that there is an issue with the pcb or a setting not described in the manual, such as a wire jumper on the edge connector, but I do not know. I do find it strange that the copyright is always displayed in the middle of the screen even during game start and play as shown in the sellers video.
