The lightblue color is pen 0 of the C123 tilemaps. The background color is hardcoded to black in MAME. Also in other drivers that use Namco C123. Where does it come from? It can't be hardcoded bitmap fill 0x1000, then namcos1 pacmania screen transitions are brown (black on PCB). It can't be hardcoded bitmap fill 0x1700, then namcos1 dspirit screen transitions are grey (black on PCB) So we can presume it's from the bottommost drawn layer. |
