| Summary | 09416: nomnlnd and clones: Start music too low-pitched and slow (and off topic: sound sample proposition) | ||||
| Description |
Not sure if this is the best place for this, but I put together a sample pack for Sengoku no Jieitai / No Man's Land. The sounds are sampled from this video: The fire and enemy explosion sounds are not perfect because I was unable to get isolated samples, so I tried to piece together what I had. The other samples should be accurate though. I've made the "tone" samples extra long so that they can be cut off early to play at the desired length. Also of note is that when starting a new level, "tankspawn0" plays twice, and then "tankspawn1" plays twice, with no gaps in between. My samples can be downloaded here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CNyxSrvDDqBgIw9dM_fOrzjD24A8JgjW/view?usp=sharing Also wanted to point out that the speed and pitch of the start music is different in the video compared to MAME. |

"Start music too high-pitched and fast" <-- did you compare in the wrong direction, and meant low pitched and slow? MAME matches the video after this commit: https://github.com/mamedev/mame/commit/1caeebf068f3d78265c339875d7ee04132e1f708 |

Resolving instead of closing, for the music speed bugfix (I'll edit the title summary) |
