| Summary | 09423: cosmicos: Freezes when L then G pressed. | ||||
| Description |
This system is marked as working, but has never really worked in a satisfactory manner. 1. When turned on, there's a black screen. Nothing ever shows on it. The video option gives a number of choices but the only one that does anything is "Display Interface Card". 2. Once running, if you press L then G, MAME locks up hard, becoming unresponsive, and needs to be forceably killed off. This defect is 100% reliable, and the basis of this report. |
||||
| Steps To Reproduce |
>mame cosmicos Open the tab menu, video options, you'll see that CDP1864 is selected. Choose Display Interface Card. Exit back to the emulation. Press G to start the machine. It says "CPU UP". Press L then press G. Observe that MAME has locked up. |
||||
| Additional Information |
It would be better if the Display Interface Card was the default, rather than the never used CDP1864. Not sure if all this is a regression, or it just never worked. |
