For these retro rereleases that appear to have a different version, it's important to find PCB references too. Taito may have modified the music due to licensing issues. Here's one of those? The sound effects are the same, but music is different. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/R-AVBQgNb68 I assume it's an Epson music chip (like Pleiads) |

I highly doubt that music was ever used on an original Phoenix board, it was probably replaced for the collection. |
