They do work, but you have to wait half a minute. Which is probably still a bug somewhere, that's a way too long initialization. Something like a loop counter overflow, or it's waiting for a flag to get ready. |

I'm not entirely sure how it actually managed to exit the loop, but it was counting down by steps of 2 starting from an odd value trying to reach 0 or the initial value, maybe. So at least two billion steps. That taking only half a minute is actually impressive. |
