| Summary | 09459: skyblazru, addfamu, possibly others: .inp playbacks desyncs | ||||
| Description |
.inp playback is sometimes unreliable on snes, though this is kinda rare and somewhat random. For context, I have successfully recorded and playbacked 2h54m dkongcu, 1h50m svania4u, 1h39m addfamu (this one .inp used to fail playback at times in the very beginning, but I eventually got it to playback, and couldn't get it not to playback anymore after that) and 1h02m alestej. skyblazru seems more prone to cause desyncs. I've attached 2 skyblazru .inps, entire playthroughs that eventually desync (reproducible each time I've tried (two or three times each)). They desync after a very long time playtime (>> 20 minutes) so you'll want to use max frameskip + fast-forward to reach that point. I've also attached an addfamu .inp (an entire playthrough as well) that may desync in the very beginning, in the first minute of gameplay. As mentionned above, I can't get this one to desync anymore, but it might "work" (I mean not work) for someone else. |
