In fact, the manufacturer list in general is in disarray.

No.24433 J.J.Boy Tester 2 days ago	I am convinced that it should be referred to as "Taito America," because the "America" in the name is part of the company's official title rather than an indication of nationality. This is analogous to how "Technos Japan" is not simply called "Technos." Taito America is Taito's U.S. subsidiary; while many of these games were developed by Taito in Japan and sold in the U.S. by Taito America, certain titles—such as Qix—are said to have been developed by Taito America itself, so careful attention to this distinction is warranted.
