Summary	09492: [plugin]: lua plugin portname if enabled bombs mame at start
Description	If you enable the portname plugin, and then start mame, there's an immediate deadly error.
Steps To Reproduce	>mame Wait the menu to appear. Click on General Settings. Choose Plugins. Enable the one named IOPort name/translation plugin, press Esc, then Save Settings, then quit MAME. >mame Error running plugin bootstrap script : runtime error C:\MAME\plugins/portname/init.lua:73 : attempt to call a nil value (field 'register_start') It doesn't say it's a Fatal Error, but it's very fatal. The mixture of forward and back slash is real too.
Additional Information	Still happens with current git self-compiled build.
