Summary 09549: cpc464 or cpc6128 with rolandsp: Roland in Space fails to detect SSA1 speech expansion (SP0256 based) on any compatible Amstrad machine (CPC464, CPC6128)
Description Roland in Space should play some speech clips with the SSA1 expansion if it's connected

You can hear it in the video (from JavaCPC) here

and it also plays on hardware (I had this configuration as a kid)

MAME fails to detect the SSA1 for this game, and doesn't play the speech clips. The SSA1 works on other games, eg. 3D Boxing.
Steps To Reproduce for the 6128 (floppy load)

mame cpc6128 -flop1 rolandsp -exp ssa1 (speech doesn't work)
using RUN"DISC

or for the 464 (cassette load)

mame cpc464 -cass rolandsp -exp ssa1 (speech doesn't work)
using RUN"

if you want to hear the speech working in another game, you can use 3D Boxing
mame cpc6128 -flop1 3dboxing -exp ssa1 (speech works)
mame cpc464 -cass 3dboxing -exp ssa1 (speech works)

This software item is listed as not working.

I can confirm there's no speech.

FWIW the NOT WORKING flag is more precautionary for the CPC stuff as not much of it is well tested (and the list needs a good clean-up / new dumps adding / old dumps removing etc.) At this point it's mostly just the modern games that push the hardware that fail entirely.

Apart from the missing speech with the add-on I'd consider it to be a working game.
