So what is the right colour?

I'm not sure if this video is from the arcade, or from MAME, but I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt. If a moderator agrees, can this bug be set to 'bug that aren't bugs'?

Someone in our MAME friendly collectors should have a PCB and can verify for sure what the deal is. It would be odd to see just the shadows be a different color when it appears the game's color itself is fine. I'd like to wait or get more Dev comment on this before I set this BTANB.

given that the video is from the prototype 'sequel' version of the game I suspect the entire tournament was done with MAME.. It's near impossible to get hold of otherwise (and I still wonder if the GFX roms we're using are actually correct..)

I also have doubts over the Angel Eyes video posted a while back, certain things about it make me think that was MAME too..

Yeh I agree it's still possible they used a MAME cab and 2 hotrods or something =/
(angel eyes id is 02699 in case you want it reopened)

I'll reset the status on 02699 per Haze's concern. To me, unless I see it on a dedicated cabinet or pcb which can be viewed in the video - recorded from an already proven reliable source .. it's likely MAME. It's better in the long run to keep a bunch of possible bugs rather than labeling BTANB to long standing bugs based solely on a youtube video.

That is not to say that youtube can't be a positive source - many people post pcb recordings that can be relied upon.

The video hap linked is gone, and I pretty sure this video (where a Guilty Gear champion gets his butt kicked by the infamously difficult boss of this game) is from the PCB. Anyway, it shows that the shadow is green:

(3:12 to see that match against General, although the thumbnail showing the fight against Azteca sums it up)

This is a video recorded from taito f3 system a collector has done.
This just confirms the shadows are dark green in the pcb as well.... but ... in my opinion the green color is darker in the pcb.
Opinions?
