It seems that they have general color differences. Maybe we should group together these issues in a one report. |

The one with the different color isn't only an item panel, the color seems different subtly overall. (Please see a part in the shadow of the ground.) The contrast of an arcade edition is big overall compared with MAME. It isn't settled by gamma setting of MAME. A screen of Saturn edition which is faithful transplantation is put because the picture of the arcade edition is incomprehensible. (Saturn edition can take a digital screen in.) A middle line of a picture is Saturn edition. The right line of a picture is MAME edition. The left line of a picture changed the contrast and the brightness using OSD in MAME. It wasn't perfect, but It was the color near Saturn (arcade) edition. Would it be helpful? |

Contrast of Taito F3 in MAME is relatively low, but it cannot be solved by adjusting the gamma correction. Seems not to be a problem of display option. Probably the shadow-to-highlight ranges are inconsistent between objects. |

This video is taken by a retro arcade in Tokyo. And the text background is gray in it. In this video, the title screen doesn't have garbled dots seen in MAME (02527). Check 1:47. Also at 10:45, enemy lasers are loooong (01920), they clearly suggest the video is not from MAME. Closing. |
