Summary 04335: mightguy: MAME reports "This game lacks sound" which isn't true.
Description Upon starting the game, MAME reports that "This game lacks sound." Upon starting the game it is easily discovered that the game does not, in fact, lack sound. What sound there is, however, is pretty terrible and will probably make you wish MAME was right. (The sound DOES correspond to events occurring in-game, but is clearly garbled quite badly.)
Steps To Reproduce Start the game, hit 5, hit 1, listen to sound. (But not for too long. It'll drive you nuts.)
Additional Information This game was recently promoted from GAME_NOT_WORKING, but demoted to GAME_NO_SOUND from GAME_IMPERFECT_SOUND, somewhere between 0.141u4 and 0.142u2; it should be restored to GAME_IMPERFECT_SOUND.

No.

Kale has recently worked on this driver and it was his call to flag it with GAME_NO_SOUND because, in his own submit words:
"Utterly broken noise doesn't necessarily mean having imperfect sound ..."
The sounds you hear are largely random sputters with no semblance of order. In the end, it's the Dev's decision to flag drivers they work with however they feel best represents the actual presentation.
