|Description||Changing "scanline alpha" from 0.00 to 0.01 in HLSL/ BGFX (moment of turning on scanlines) zooms the image to the point where text on the top, left and bottom gets cropped off. See comparison below.|
|Steps To Reproduce||
Start the game Space Zap with HLSL or BGFX (HLSL shader) enabled.
Change "scanline alpha" from 0.00 to 0.01 via sliders in the UI or by changing it in a .ini .
Happens with Seawolf II too.
From the MAME 0.202 whats new text:
. VIDEO RENDERING SYSTEM
. Apply scanline effect before defocus effect and moved scanline effect into separate shader. Port scanline modification to BGFX.
. Fixed not set default uniforms for vector pass (render\d3d\d3dhlsl.cpp)

As mentioned in your other report 07342, we need to make sure that your reporting version is correct.
Also, added "Image Enhancement" category for these types of bugs so that it can be used in the future instead of "Graphics"

My reporting version is correct. I would not take the time to write the report, if i would not be sure.
