Summary	08922: hydrthnd: Attempting to load the game causes MAME to softlock without any ability to exit and cursor to be stuck
Description	I was trying to check this game out despite its "Not Working" compatibility status, however, after loading it, it appears that the system and warning info were skipped over automatically although they should be skipped by key press, and there was a black screen afterward that locked my cursor into the emulator. I cannot exit and close the emulator, so I had to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and log off my Windows session.
Steps To Reproduce	Try loading the game to see if the issue can be replicated. Make sure the CHD file "hydro" (within the "hydrthnd" folder) and the ROM set "hydrthnd" are in the roms folder before opening MAME.
Additional Information	None needed. This bug/issue is one of the most critical ones I've ever reported on the site.

No.22339 Haze Senior Tester Sep 24, 2024, 13:53 edited on: Sep 24, 2024, 13:55	it's a PC based driver, it currently has a keyboard attached, which means ESC is treated as a system input, not a MAME input press scrlock, like with any computer driver, to switch out of full-keyboard mode and you can exit as normal. this is, for now (while the driver is in development) expected behavior.
