| Summary | 09499: pachislo_z80.cpp: Company infos about pachislo_z80.cpp | ||||
| Description |
In April 1993, Universal(株式会社ユニバーサル) was absorbed through a merger by Universal Sales(ユニバーサル販売株式会社). In 1998, Universal Technos(ユニバーサルテクノス株式会社) absorbed Universal Sales and changed its company name to Aruze(アルゼ株式会社). In 2009, Aruze changed its company name to Universal Entertainment(株式会社ユニバーサルエンターテインメント). Although "thunderv" was released in 1997, the distributor was Macy Sales(メーシー販売株式会社) an affiliate of Universal Sales (due to Japanese "pachislot" regulations). "crankyc" (the actual machine name is "Cranky Contest", not "Cranky Condor") was released by Universal Sales in 1997. "versus" was released by Aruze in 1998. |

Should I credit them as the manufacturers instead of "Universal" or credit them as licensees instead? |
